The Mariposa Headband - "Mariposa" is Spanish for Butterfly.
This feather butterfly headpiece adds a bit of elegance or drama to any outfit. Hand-selected feather butterflies delicately swarm and float above your head on hidden wirework.

The butterflies were hand-painted a bright metallic color.
The metallic colors are hard to photograph, they are much brighter and vibrant in real life. For example, depending on lighting conditions, the gold might look anywhere from more antique in low-light or cloudy settings or more of a very 14K gold in well-lit areas.
The back of the butterflies are more of a antique color, with a very subtle black color shift at certain angles.
This metallic finish is hard to achieve, which is why it costs more and takes longer to make. It takes several days of coloring and gluing to achieve it.
There are cheaper versions too. A White Butterfly with Silver Glitter or a Yellow Butterfly with Gold Glitter.
There are 3 large butterflies and one small butterfly included.
All the butterflies are individually wired, you can adjust their position and height to change the look of the headpiece.
The feathers are attached to a thin satin headband making it very easy to wear and suitable for most hairstyles.
