One of my best sales tactics is from my understanding of the human mind. Using a certain tactic which might seem crude, but works wonders in getting people to buy. Take this vegetable medley dress. I could pull this out of the dumpster and ask my cousin to buy it for five dollars, but she would say no right away. But if I take it out of a beautiful glass case with diamonds on it and I say, “I bet you wouldn’t look good even in this beautiful fancy dress.” Her brain will now want to prove me wrong, and she will be willing to pay ten dollars for the dress. Psychology and understanding it is key in making the sale.
