It is my chic version of Prince Beatrice's Philip Treacey headpiece that she wore to the Royal Wedding. It was widely panned as being a fashion fail so I decided to redo the design in my own style. I drew inspiration from Princess Beatrices headpiece in terms of the shape, from Bianca del Rio's "Best Drag" runway look, and Alexander McQueen's iconic butterfly headpiece.

A large sinamay swoop arches over a teardrop shaped base, which is accented with a gathering of black feathers on the base. The side and top of the arch are accented with a mixture of small and large red monarch feather butterflies.
The headpiece is lightweight, it attaches with a large hair comb. It will also come with spare butterflies.
