The Mariposa Headband - "Mariposa" is Spanish for Butterfly.
 
This feather butterfly headpiece is an affordable, yet elegant way to add bohemian elegance or drama to any outfit.  Hand-selected feather butterflies delicately swarm and float above your head on hidden wirework.
 
There are 3 large butterflies and one small butterfly included.
 
All the butterflies are individually wired, you can adjust their position and height to change the look of the headpiece.  
 
The feathers are attached to a thin satin headband making it very easy to wear and suitable for most hairstyles.

    When it comes to the Monarch Butterfly wing pattern (black accent lines with white dots, as seen here), we have:

     

    • White Monarchs
    • Red Monarchs
    • Orange Monarchs
    • Orange Yellow Monarchs
    • Pink Monarchs
    • Blue Monarchs
    • Indigo Violet Monarchs
    • Purple Monarchs


    If you choose one of these color, unless stated otherwise, you will receive your headpiece made in the color of your choice painted in the Monarch Butterfly style. 

     

    MANY other colors are available, but they have different painted wing styles and accents.

    • Butterflies are made out of hand-painted feathers.
    • The butterflies are treated with special acrylic coatings to increase durability and make them more UV resistant. 
    • Large butterflies are 4.5in across. Small butterflies are 2.5in across.
    • Handmade in Los Angeles, California.

     

    • This headpiece typically ships out within 1-3 business days.
    • Hats with Heart: For every $100 in profit, we do at least 1 hour of volunteer work.
    • The headpiece will come with a spare butterfly, it did not fall off.
