Inspired by the Philip Treacy headpiece as worn by Princess Beatrice.
This was a custom piece for a Paris fashion event.  I can recreate it for you.
 
It features ebony black feather butterflies that have been hand-painted in a variety of metal and jewel tones.
This Beatrice colorway of hat costs a bit more than the other Beatrice version because each of the butterflies are individually hand-painted. 
 
Please allow up to 3 weeks for it to be made, though I will probably be able to make it much faster depending on what butterflies you want.  The headpiece listed has been sold.
 
The butterflies are attached on individual wires to a black hat base around 13-15cm cm in diameter.  The butterflies are adjustable in terms of height and position.  Each butterfly is made out of real feathers.
 
The headpiece has clips attached.  It is lightweight and comfortable to wear and suitable for most hair lengths.  It can also clip onto a wide satin headband if desired, it is an additional $3 for the headband if you want it.  The hat comes fully lined.
