Do not be ALARMED—this black bowler hat inspired by Salvador Dalí’s iconic “Tearful Soft Watch” is here to bend minds, melt clocks, and absolutely steal the scene.
 
This surrealist bowler hat is handmade in Los Angeles by Fab Hatters, a female-owned, minority-owned small business established in 2013, and designed for anyone who believes fashion should be a little weird, wildly witty, and deliciously camp.
 
⏰ About the Design (It’s About Time)
The melting clock artwork has been custom edited and printed by hand onto stiffened fabric, then carefully curved and molded—so it’s not just flat, it’s fabulously dimensional. The bottom “drip” of the clock cheekily hangs over the edge of the brim, because gravity is optional in surrealism.
 
There is very mild creasing along the bottom edge of the clock—an unavoidable side effect of shaping time itself. It’s only visible from inches away and disappears once worn (unless someone is really invading your personal space).

Optional feather clock hands and metallic gold hand-painted detailing can be added for an additional charge. These upgrades require 1–4 extra days of production time. Just message me!

This is a costume-shop quality novelty permafelt bowler, which allows me to offer it quickly and at an accessible price. The stiffness is essential to support the internal wirework and sculptural clock shape. Upon request I can also attach an elastic so it'll stay on even if its slightly too small for your head.
 
Looking for something extra luxe? I also offer a wool felt upgrade upon request (higher price + longer production time).

Each bowler is trimmed with a luxurious, high-quality petersham ribbon and bow, because even melted clocks deserve couture finishing.
 
Please note:
The mannequin head shown is slightly smaller than a real human head and bald (iconic, but misleading), so the hat may appear larger in photos than it does in real life.
