After the overwhelming success of the original Fairy Tales collection in 2024, Pete Cromer and the Erstwilder design team decided there were simply too many beloved storybook characters left untold. So they turned the page and created an even bigger chapter filled with classic fairy tales, famous fables, magical creatures, and whimsical woodland friends—all brought to life in Pete Cromer's unmistakable colorful style.
Whether you're collecting your favorite childhood stories or simply love beautifully designed statement jewelry, this is one of the most charming Erstwilder collections we've seen in years.

A Small Shipping Update
I may have gotten... just a tiny bit carried away ordering this collection. 😂
Actually, I ordered so much that U.S. Customs decided my shipment deserved extra attention.
The good news?
It's already in my city.
The bad news?
Customs somehow became convinced I was exporting merchandise from the United States instead of importing it. After several rounds of paperwork, emails, and phone calls, the issue has finally been escalated—but because of the holiday weekend, everything is temporarily on pause.
Because life apparently enjoys adding plot twists...
This week there was also a fire in the building housing my storage unit. And I'm unable to have access to the building until sometime next week to access the damage.
Thankfully, none of the Erstwilder inventory was stored there. ❤️
Unfortunately, much of my other inventory was.
To make things even more exciting, our insurance company recently stopped covering California businesses, leaving us uninsured just before the fire occurred.
So yes...
It's been one of those weeks.
Possible Shipping Delay
There may be a shipping delay of a few business days while we wait for our Pete Cromer shipment to officially clear customs.
As soon as everything arrives safely, we'll begin packing orders immediately.
To protect customers, we're also holding back a very small number of items until we confirm every piece arrived safely. Any remaining inventory will be released in a second restock shortly afterward.
If you successfully purchase an item during launch, your order is fully guaranteed.
Looking Ahead
Beginning July 17, my sister Grace—the other Fab Hatter—will be undergoing an incredibly intensive four-stage surgery.
I'll be stepping away from the studio to help care for her during recovery.
Ready-to-ship items like Erstwilder jewelry will continue shipping as quickly as possible.
However, because I personally handcraft every Fab Hatters headpiece, fascinator, and hat, handmade production may temporarily slow or pause while she's recovering.
If you've been considering ordering one of our handmade hats, wigs, fascinators, or costume headwear, now would be an excellent time to get your order in.

The last few Erstwilder launches were honestly challenging for our tiny business, but I believed so strongly in Pete Cromer's Fairy Tales Part 2 that I decided to take a huge leap and order one of our largest collections ever.
After seeing previews of the upcoming July and August releases... let's just say they're spectacular, and I'd absolutely love to keep bringing them to our customers.
